October 31st, 2006 :: “Happy Halloween”

Happy Halloween everybody!

October 30th, 2006 :: “SCF Wrap-up”

Today’s robots come from Jeremy Tinder. He kindly personalized the copy of Cry Yourself To Sleep that I bought during the Stumptown Comics Fest this weekend. I’d been holding off buying it until I could get it in person. Also, in the best trade of the fest, I scored another robot painting of his (my third).

Sadly, this is the only picture I took all weekend. Welcome to the Robot-A-Day 1/2 table at the Stumptown Comics Fest! This was taken right before the doors opened to the public. All in all, I would say my first tabling experience was very successful. I got to meet a lot of cool folks, made some cash, and introduced the R-A-D to a lot of new fans (hopefully). Speaking of making cash, have you forgotten about the “Get BT Inked Fund?” After the comics fest, and another recent purchase, the fund is now up to a whopping… $26.10! Not too shabby. Remember, 10% of all sales get added to the fund. (Stumptown debuted items will be added to the R-A-D Store later tonight.)

CURRENT DONATIONS: $26.10

October 27th, 2006 :: “SCF 2006 Merch”

OK, nothing super new here, but today is the first day (of two) of the Stumptown Comics Fest, and I’ve been doing little else this last week but prepare for it. So, here is all the new crap I’ll have for sale at the show and then in the R-A-D Store come Monday. Clockwise from the upper-left:

  • 101 Robots: 40 page collection of my favorite robots from the last year. Black and white innards with a four-color screenprinted cover. Limited edition of 20.
  • DESTROY!!! monoprints. This started out as a three-color screenprint, but I felt it was missing something to push it over the top, so I added two more colors using watercolors, making each one technically unique.
  • Patches: Screenprinted, black on khaki canvas patches with my ROBOPOCALYPSE logo. Perfect for any backpack or jacket.
  • Loads of random robot buttons: Self-explanatory. Somewhere around eight different robots.
  • Robots Are People Too: 20 page mini of those four-panel robot comics I’ve been showing you these last few weeks. Includes six comics never featured on R-A-D.
  • Escape From Laser Ape Island: 24 page mini of my 24 Hour Comic. (Contains no robots.)

See you Monday, if not sooner!

October 26th, 2006 :: “No Dough”

This is the LAST of these four-panel comics I’ll be showing on Robot-A-Day, but there are six more that will be included in a mini that I’m making for the Stumptown Comics Fest, which is tomorrow. I think this is my favorite one out of all 20.

October 25th, 2006 :: “Insomnia”

This one’s almost autobiographical… Almost.

October 24th, 2006 :: “All Of Them!”

This one goes out to the old-school R-A-D viewers.

October 23rd, 2006 :: “Hats Look Good On Robots”

October 20th, 2006 :: “Halloween Costume”

Seriously, I’m at a loss this year. Does anyone have any good ideas they’re not using? The only requirement is that I have to be able to remain unshaven.

CURRENT DONATIONS: $3.40

October 19th, 2006 :: “Burger Coma”

This one is totally autobiographical. I’m really taking the old adage, “feed a cold, starve a fever” to heart.

CURRENT DONATIONS: $2.40

October 18th, 2006 :: “Sniff”

I apologize for the lack of robots yesterday. I’ve been suffering from a head cold and never got around to posting anything.

Don’t forget to add to the “Get BT Inked” fund! It puts the “fun” back in “fund!”

CURRENT DONATIONS: $2.40
