October 16th, 2006 :: “For Today I Am A Robot”


Lots of stuff today. This insanely cute piece of robot-ness comes from Lisa Max. I don’t want to discourage other artists from sending me their robot art to feature on the site, but I don’t know if anyone can top this. Please, feel free to try though. If you need more proof of how much I like “For Today I Am A Robot,” try this on for size: I am planning on this being my next tattoo. I already have Lisa’s permission, but there’s only one issue, being an art student doesn’t pay very well. So, I’m setting up the “Help BT Get Inked” fund. 10% of all R-A-D Store purchases will go towards the fund, or if you’re feeling generous, you can add to it directly. Even one dollar is that much closer to me going under the needle. It’s a simple design, and I probably won’t get it that big, so it really shouldn’t be too much, but “not too much” is still more than I have. So what do you say folks? Can you spare a little? STILL MORE:
I had a very productive weekend. One of the biggest accomplishments was burning screens and printing all three colors on the “DESTROY!!!” print. They will debut at the Stumptown Comics Fest and any leftovers will be for sale here in November.
