P4 and SC Bot Prints by Jason Goad

I haven’t featured someone else’s robot art in a while, but when Jason Goad contacted me about these two new prints of his, I couldn’t resist. Each print is a five-color screenprint, and is, if you’ll notice, anatomically correct!

I look forward to adding these two prints alongside my other Goad robot print. Maybe you should think about doing the same.

Yaarrrgh!

(Probably larger than actual size)

I went on vacation last weekend, and as usually happens when I return from traveling, I have very little interest in posting anything, or really the internet in general, but I have been forgetting to post this very last of my one-inch robots that I started way back in September. He’s a pirate!

I am working on some cool things though, so hopefully by next week I’ll be feeling a little more inspired to scan/photograph them; see you then.

PNCA Comics Anthology Poster

The end of 2007 has been dominated by me taking a leadership or organizational role on a lot of big projects. The 2008 comics anthology from my school, PNCA, will probably be the last big thing I put together, or help put together, for a while; it’s all sort of wearing me out. Anyways, this is the initial, get your submissions ready, poster for the anthology.

I think I might strip the smaller speech balloon out and make this an art print, so I did a little marker comp of that.

This is Elvis. He’s not my cat, but his owners leave him outside a lot, so he’s learned he can come next door and sit in front of our door, and either my roommate or I will let him inside and play with him for a while, or sometimes even feed him. He purrs like a motorboat and I have been late for class many a time due to playing with this little guy.
