Hourly Comic Day
Friday, February 1st was Hourly Comic Day, where artists from around the world draw one journal comic for every hour they are awake. This is my third year participating; enjoy my day! I’ve thrown in links where applicable. So many other artists have participated as well, go show them some love too.

Beulahland is one of my favorite bar/cafes in Portland, and it’s only a few blocks from my house! They’ve got great coffee, delicious food, 5-6 kinds of pie every day, and a full bar, so you can go in any time of day and satisfy whatever appetite you may have.

The rest of these were all drawn in the dark, some outside, some inside, which explains their drop in “quality.”

For those of you not from Portland, First Friday is the day that a lot of art galleries and shops on the east side of Portland have their monthly openings. Skeleton Key is a new tattoo shop where I’ll be having a show this June.

Grass Hut Gallery is one of my favorite shops/galleries in town; run by Bwana Spoons and Justin “Scrappers” Morrison. The show they had going on this month had some amazing work by Martin Ontiveros and friends.

I had this piece in Launchpad Gallery’s “3rd Annual Love Show.” The place was absolutely packed to the gills, and like every Launchpad group show, full of tasty pot-luck food and good friends.

In case you don’t know, Cinematic Titanic.
