Counter top sample ? Is this another of your crazy painting surfaces ?
Counter tops are wonderful to paint on, nice and smooth. I’ve never really liked the texture of canvas. I was able to find a haul of them for next to nothing, so there’ll probably be a lot more of these coming eventually.

Also, the samples all have a hole on top, so you don’t even need a frame, just a pin or nail. So easy!
These are either a little bigger than the usual ones (which are 2″x3″ or so), or you rock painting miniature.
Either way, aces.
I wish I could paint like this in miniature, this is on a 7″ by 9″ sample.
I love that this is on my wall at home. If I didn’t tell you before, it’s positively genius.
